Tennessee Australian Shepherd Club PAST and PRESENT

For a quick look into our club's past, below is the layout used when we had to lay mats in the National Guard Armory in Oak Ridge.  The Annual Pre-Turkey Day Obedience Trials were held there from November 2002-2006.  We only had to lay mats for one ring.

When the spring shows moved to Central High School, we laid 2 rings and sometimes 3 rings of mats.  Laying mats was very labor intensive.  Many of our current members have fond memories of transporting, unrolling, taping, rolling, & transporting the heavy rubber mats during June.

We are very thankful to have moved the spring shows to Harriman where we can show on dirt and leave the mats behind. We only have to transport ring gates, agility and obedience/rally equipment.

November 11-12, 2017, we are having a new series of 5 conformation shows in Gray, TN at the fairgrounds.  Those will be on packed shavings under cover.

The following weekend, November 18-19, 2017, we have our indoor agility trial in Chattanooga, TN on permanent mats at Play Dog Excellent.  The March 2018 agility show there will be March 24-25.

Then we are planning our spring shows in Harriman for May 4-6, 2018.  We will have an agility seminar, 3 agility trials, 5 conformation shows, 4 rally shows and 3 obedience shows
